Changing times in Charlotte Lacrosse demands a new direction for Team Charlotte Lacrosse.

In an effort to produce the best program for high school lacrosse players, Team Charlotte will concentrate 100% of its efforts on the high school boys' program.  Team Charlotte will continue its mission to offer players the opportunities to practice and play lacrosse at the highest level and will focus on making the high school boys' program even better.

The Team Charlotte youth programs (U-15, U-13, and U-11) will be restructured under South Charlotte Select.   South Charlotte Select will improve and expand upon the foundation of Team Charlotte by offering experienced youth players the same opportunities to participate in regional and national lacrosse tournaments in the summer.  In addition, South Charlotte Select will further develop each player's lacrosse skills through fall practices, training sessions, and additional games and tournaments.

The U-15 Coaches. Myers Park Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach Mike Gambrill and Matt Wiehl, Butler High School Varsity Head Coach will coach the U-15 South Charlotte Select Teams.

U-15 Eligibility: Athletes born in 1993 and 1994 are eligible to participate on the U-15 Team.  Typically the U-15 squad is 7th and 8th graders but 9th graders with a 1993 birth year may also play.  And since most of the very good U-15 national competition teams are 9th graders we encourage eligible Charlotte 9th graders who will not make the Team Charlotte HS team to play South Charlotte Select U-15.
