Changing times in Charlotte Lacrosse demands a new direction for Team Charlotte Lacrosse.

In an effort to produce the best program for high school lacrosse players, Team Charlotte will concentrate 100% of its efforts on the high school boys' program.  Team Charlotte will continue its mission to offer players the opportunities to practice and play lacrosse at the highest level and will focus on making the high school boys' program even better.

The Team Charlotte youth programs (U-15, U-13, and U-11) will be restructured under South Charlotte Select.   South Charlotte Select will improve and expand upon the foundation of Team Charlotte by offering experienced youth players the same opportunities to participate in regional and national lacrosse tournaments in the summer.  In addition, South Charlotte Select will further develop each player's lacrosse skills through spring and fall practices, training sessions, and additional games and tournaments.

The Coaches. Providence Day School Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach Bobby Thompson and PDS Middle School Coach Jack Bogwicz will coach the U-13 South Charlotte Select Teams.

U-13 Eligibility: Athletes born in 1995 and 1996 are eligible to participate on the U-13 Team.            

Typically the U-13 squad is 5th and 6th graders but 7th graders with a 1995 birth year may also play. 

And since most of the very good U-13 national competition teams are 7th graders we encourage eligible Charlotte 7th graders to play U-13.
